fantastic environment – the tunnel inhabited by the combo plants and hybrid creatures

Group 3 completed their work by placing the drawings and photographs printed on acetate inside the ‘poly-tunnel’. Entering the inside of the installation was like visiting a fantastic land. The tunnel was fascinating also from outside so students shot videos documenting their work an telling a story of travelling through the temporary, see-through environment that they created.

where was my object found? ‘cross section’ images

This session started with tracing archeological finds and creating these planet’s cross-secion artworks. The students marked places in and between the layers of soil and rocks where different objects were found.

found and transformed – the objects

Students of Group 1 responded to the collection of old, worn and thrown out by the sea objects. They imagined and drawn reconstructed original look of these objects first. They also photographed these objects and using enlarged through photocopying images created visions of things belonging to different cultures, civilisations and times.
